The Restless Manifesto
A currently on hiatus multimedia project that I am still not quite sure exactly how to describe. A combination of a site specific installation – the site being social media – performance art, guerilla marketing, and political satire – asserting that one must take up insomnia as a radical political reclamation of the self, centered around an essay manically written at 4 AM titled "The Restless Manifesto". This project saw me taking out social media ads, putting up stickers wherever I found the space, and taking late night trains to spread physical copies of the manifesto on the CTA, pulling from the language and aesthetics of the hyper-targeted ads of the Social Media era. Future plans include a revised manifesto, nosleepovers, and reverse alarm clocks.
